Flaming Lips Video of the Year
The new Lips album, At War With the Mystics was just released on Tuesday. “The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” music video features burgers in their natural environment. (Which obviously means they are being duct taped to some dude’s face and body.)
Tour Dates:
April 19 – Edinburgh, UK – Usher Hall
April 22 – London, UK – Royal Albert Hall

Weather Report Live in 1977
Here’s a nice little video from our friends over at Videobong. It’s got the funkiest 70’s bass and bongos you are likely to hear for weeks if not months.
Dungen Video and Tour Dates
Dungen’s song “Festival” is so great that even if the music video featured only pig lips and assholes, I would still totally rock out to it. However, there is now a good lips and ass free video. Novamatic.com has a cool and interesting video, art and fashion website, and they have recently uploaded the new Dungen Video for Festival. This video is a magical acid flashback inducing journey with flying chickens wafting around in a non-creepy carnyesque environment.
Dungen’s Mammoth-Like Tour Dates:
April 23 – Vancouver, BC – Richards on Richards
April 24 – Seattle, WA – Neumo’s

People in Planes Video and mp3
Joaquin Phoenix directed the new People in Planes video, “If You Talk Too Much (My Head Will Explode).” Strangely enough, your mom was the co-director. I just watched the video and not surprisingly, my frontal lobe exploded as a result of impulse control and motor function complications. Look for the new album March 28th.
New Strokes Video and Tour Dates
Do you like The Strokes? How about footage of the Manhattan financial district? Tall buildings? If you answered yes to 0-3 of these questions, this could be the video for you. (Warning: Some of the band members may appear to look vulnerable in this video, but it turns out that everything worked out okay in the end.)
Video of the Week – Elbow
If you like robots and fake moustaches, you’ll love Elbow’s new sci-fi video for “Leaders of the Free World.” The robots don’t sabotage Taco Bell drive-thru employees like most other music videos that feature robots, but this video is still tight.
