Baile Funk Audio
Brazil's favelas are home to South America's hottest music, Baile Funk, which is a mashup of Latin rhythms, American hip hop, soul, and funk, and pretty much anything else that the DJ can throw into the mix without getting shot. It's kind of hard to track this stuff down, so if you've been curious, here's an audio stream of about a dozen tracks from Nossa Music's excellent "I Love Baile Funk" mix comp.
