How does an American get the proper papers to live in Canada?!?! I am dying to get out of the States and live and I've already lived in Edinburgh, Barcelona, Toulouse(France), and Goiana(Brazil). Canada fascinates the dickens out of me. My one trip to Vancouver was stellar. Montreal sounds even dreamier and safer! Please give me any advice on visas or permits. There are enough links here to keep my occupied for a long time. My next visit to Montréal is just after the new year and I plan to check our some of the clubs listed that I haven't been to before. In fact, I worked in a restaurant (Euro-Deli) with Tim Fletcher (lead singer of the stills) for a year. Great guy, and the only reason I omitted them was because I was trying to focus on the smaller bands/artists. Actually, that's not true 'cause I put Rufus Wainwright in there.
