Each year, Mexican Joy Division club, “CM Interzone” picks their favorite Joy Division track for the upcoming year. It is their belief that Joy Division’s catalogue contains enough source material to accurately predict the mood of the world over the coming 12 months. This year’s selection, Ice Age is forboding and ominous, but not any more then past years’ picks. Club Musical Interzone is the Old Farmer’s Alamanc of Mexican Gothic music societies, so we recommend stocking up on essentials, gold, and weapons for the year to come.

Tarantula A.D. mp3
Tarantula A.D.’s track “Who Took Berlin part 1) is our featured Rock Opus of the month. It’s not every day that you get a track that starts with a guitar solo, segues into movie-soundtrack territory and drum pounding explosions, and then fades out with such beauty and longing that you can’t remember where the journey began. The word on the street is that these guys are some sort of high-level rock theorists writing a thesis on all things epic.
