Foreign Born Mp3s
Foreign Born is an LA-based act that has a sound reminiscent of the golden age of English New Wave mixed with a kind of anthemic California classic rock. In any case, download their mp3s and then buy their brand new record, “In the Remote Woods”. You’ll be hearing more from this band soon, mark our words.

Four Tet mp3 from Everything Ecstatic
Four Tet is back with a new CD which is out next week. In the meantime, download this mp3 from the recrd. The track, “Smile Around the Face” has a playful hip-hop vibe, with some major crash cymbal action you’ve come to expect from Four Tet. It’s a fun song but that’s not to say simple, the layers upon layers of sounds are subtle and teasing, but can also get you on the floor… of your living room. Not a club rocker but good danceable electronic music that you need to download now.
The Shout Out Louds mp3 and Tourdates
More Swedish popfection on USOUNDS: The Shout Out Louds (hearby known as TSOOL) hit LA tonight in support of the Dears. Should be a great show, the Dears are fantastic and NME has proclaimed TSOOL “The best new band” of Coachella.
…
To warm it up, here’s a TSOOL single “Out Loud”. Tour dates are below.
Malkmus mp3 from New Record
A dear old friend of ours, Stephen Malkmus, has a brand new record entitled “Face the Truth”. Rob Sheffield gave it 4 stars in Rolling Stone, and says its his ‘weirdest yet’. Rock it out!
MAHJONGG mp3
Mahjongg play a funky sort of electro-rock, somewhat akin to LCD Soundsystem et al. Here they break out a bit more of the rock flavors and guitar licks with the track Alumimum.
